Welcome to Aware's
Online Support Groups.

AWARE are expanding their self-help supports to include a new online support group service. The groups will provide opportunity to connect with others with similar experiences, to provide support and share information. The online support groups will each run for 8 weeks.

Notice:
Registration for Online Support Groups closes on Friday 17th November.

Aware will still be holding our usual face-to-face support groups.

About Online Support Groups

What's it all about

As part of the development of this service, Queen’s University Belfast (QUB) will be working with AWARE to complete an evaluation of the new groups. This evaluation will involve some interviews and questionnaires with group members. All data is anonymised.

Please note that due to the high demand for our online support groups and the fact this new service is part of a study project a waiting list will be in operation for this service. As a result, you may be asked to wait up to 6 months before you will be offered a place. This will be explained in more detail during an initial pre-registration introductory session.

How to participate

In order for you to be registered on our system click the "Register Now" button below and complete your information. Please note that all information will remain confidential and you only have to give your first name. Please note that you will be asked to complete some of these questions again at the end of the study.

This video will help explain the process and what Online Support Groups are.
